Welcome to Springers Of Oz
When I was a little girl I saw a picture of an English Springer Spaniel and told my parents I would own one someday. I bought my first English Springer Spaniel in 1986 and I've been in love ever since. You can't beat their loving personality, loyalty, gentleness, and intelligence which makes them the ultimate family member. They haven't earned the nickname "velcro dog" lightly as they LOVE their human family. If you are lucky enough to own an English Springer Spaniel you will own one for life.
My goal at Springers Of Oz is to produce loving companions. My dogs are intelligent, athletic, have entertaining personalities, and breed standard in conformation. Above all else my dogs are healthy and health tested!. Whether you are looking for a hunting companion, competition dog, or family member, you'll find your puppy match at Springers of Oz. I have what you are looking for. I have been raising/training English Springer Spaniels since 1986, at that time I trained them to hunt and I really enjoyed it but as my kids grew and took more of my time I stopped training dogs to hunt. I thought I would begin again once they were grown and I had more time, but my attention went a different direction. I have always had a love of the show ring from watching the Westminster dog show on tv as a young girl, and took the plunge! I have been handling Springers in the conformation show ring since 2011. My Noah lead me into the Agility ring, followed by Brijette, Monroe, and Olivia. I am hooked! I have been competing in Agility trials since 2014.
I am careful when placing my puppies, and only place them in loving homes where they will be family members. Each puppy leaves me with a piece of my heart, so be prepared to answer questions and tell me about yourself and your family, and be prepared as I like to have a phone conversation after the Puppy Questionnaire. I like to place puppies in their new home at 8-10 weeks, an age when they are weaned and they benefit most from the individual attention and training in their permanent environment.
My puppies are raised in my home, I don't have a kennel as my dogs have the run of the house and are my family. Before your puppy joins your family, he/she will have a good start on potty training, which I start at 4-5 weeks. He/She will be litter box trained, as I begin litter box training at 2-3 weeks. All puppies are current on vaccinations, microchipped, their dew claws removed, and their tails are docked by my Veterinarian. Foremost, my springers are family members. I don't sell to breeders since springers don't do well being left alone for long periods of time, because of their love for people.
My puppies are loved and receive quality care and attention every day, and I expect that loving care and attention to continue in their new home. I feel this will be at least a 12-15 year relationship because I keep in touch with my puppies' forever homes and love receiving pictures and stories on how they are doing which is very important to me.
Check out my past puppies in the Extended Family Page and videos of past litters in my Upcoming Litter Page. I love getting pictures and updates.
In my contract I outline my three year genetic health guarantee and supply information about your new family member. I do have referrals available in the Referral Page check it out!
If you want to get a hold of me Click on my Contact Me page and please fill out my Puppy Questionnaire located in my Upcoming Litter Page, this will help us both know what is expected and helps me get to know about you!.
